행정학과

전진석 박사는 미국 텍사스 주립대학교에서 정치경제학 박사학위를 취득하였으며(논문: 지역간 인구이동과 지역발전에 관한 연구, 1990), 현재 가톨릭대학교 행정학과 명예교수이다. 그의 학문 관심분야는 정책분석, 지역개발, 의료정책, 계량행정 등이며, 캘리포니아 주립대(버클리) 정부학연구소(IGS)에 방문교수로 1년 동안 있었다(2004-2005). 그는 가톨릭대학교 행정대학원장 및 국제교류처장, 그리고 한국행정학회 부회장 등을 역임하였고, 2015년에는 국무총리표창장을 받았으며, 현재 민주평통자문회의 자문위원으로 활동하고 있다.

He received a Ph.D. in Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallas (dissertation: “Interregional Migration and Regional Development, 1990), and is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Public Administration at the Catholic University of Korea. His major academic interests include policy analysis, regional development, health care policy, and quantitative administration. Professor Chun was a visiting professor at the Institute of Governmental Studies (IGS) of UC Berkeley from 2004 to 2005. He served as Dean of the Graduate School of Public Administration, Dean of the Office of International Affairs, and Vice President of the Korean Society of Public Administration. Dr. Chun received Prime Minister’s Commendation award in 2015. He is currently serving as an advisory member of the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council.

염건령 교수는 가톨릭대학교 행정학과 초빙교수이다. 동국대 경찰행정학과에서 학사, 석사과정 졸업 및 박사과정 수료 후, ICGU에서 박사학위를 받았다. 한국범죄학연구소 및 한국범죄학회를 설립 운영하고 있으며, 가톨릭대학교부설 한국탐정학연구소 공동소장을 맡고 있다. 여성가족부 장관자문위원, 해양경찰청 과학수사자문위원, 법무부 법무연수원 초빙교수, 한국행정학회 경찰발전연구회 이사, 서울특별시 도봉구청, 경기도교육청, 경기 의왕시청 성희롱 고충심의위원,  행정자치부 지방자치인재개발원 사무관(5급) 직무교육 초빙교수 등을 맡고 있으며, 국내 탐정학에 대한 다양한 연구활동을 수행하고 있다.

] Keonryeong Yeom is visiting professor in the Department of Public Administration at the Catholic University of Korea. He earned bachelor and master’s degree from Dongguk University, and had Completed Ph. D. program. He earned Ph. D. from International Culture Graduate University. He established and operates Korea Institute for Criminology and Korea Society for Criminology and Criminal Science, and is co-president of Korea Institute of Private Investigation Study affiliated with the Catholic University of Korea. He is an advisor to the Minister of Women and Family Policy, scientific investigation advisor to Korea Coast Guard, and visiting professor at the Training Institute of Juste of Korea. He conducting various research activities on private investigation development, administration, legal system, and management.
